Mosquito House League Playoffs
Playoff Schedule and Rules for 2019 Mosquito HL Postseason.
Below is the full schedule and rules for the 2019 Mosquito House league playoffs. The playoff format will consist of two pools of teams playing a total of 4 games within their respective pools. The top two teams will advance to a one game cross-over semi-final with the winning teams moving on to a one game final.
Pool A - Blue Jays (1), Yankees (3), Athletics (5), Orioles (7)
Pool B - White Sox (2), Red Sox (4), Pirates (6)

Rules
- All regular rules for Mosquito house league will be followed except for any modifications below.
- During pool play, the home team will be decided by a coin flip. During the cross-overs the 1st seeded team in each pool will be the home team. During the final, home team will be decided by a coin flip.
- Games will be 5 complete innings in length with the 5th inning being the opening inning.
- During pool play, tie games at the end of 5 complete innings will remain ties. During the cross-overs and final, extra innings will be played and the international tiebreaker rules will be used (i.e. runners on first and second, 0 out, etc.)
- Games will start promptly at their scheduled start time (unless delayed because of a prior game running long).
- If a team does not have a minimum of 8 players at game start time that team will lose by forfeit (default). THERE WILL BE NO GRACE PERIOD. If both teams forfeit they will both receive a loss on their record.
- There will be no call-ups allowed.
- The top two teams in each pool will advance to a single game cross-over which will consist of the 1st seeded team in one pool playing the 2nd seeded team in the other pool.
- Winners of the cross-over games will play a single game final.
- Tiebreakers to break ties in the standings will be applied in the following order:
- Head to Head record
- Defensive runs per inning among tied teams only
- Offensive run per inning among tied teams only
