Paradise Minor Baseball is excited to be introducing the Baseball Canada grass roots Rally Cap Program for our 5U and 7U players for the 2021 season.
General Information
The Rally Cap Program is an initiative to enhance players' and coaches' first experience with the game. The program helps teams teach players the FUNdamentals of baseball in a fun and safe environment. Players have the opportunity to perform different tasks in order to earn a colored Baseball Canada Rally Cap. Cap colours correspond with various levels of achievement. The program is designed for young baseball players.
Goals
- Create a fun environment in which children and adults are actively engaged together in the game of baseball.
- Develop fundamental motor skills, teach baseball skills, and basic rules to our players.
- Experience success with an emphasis on good sportsmanship.
- Promote increased self-esteem among Rally Cap children and adults.
- Recruiting new coaches and volunteers
The Baseball Canada Rally Cap program provides detailed practice plans for coaches, taking away the guess work even if you've never coached before. We hope this will encourage new coaches to volunteer in our younger divisions so they can grow with their kids as they progress through the PMB programs.

As in previous years, PMB workers will be at each field to run the practices. We will however be depending on parents to get involved to have fun and learn as well! Please consider volunteering in the spring when we put out our call for coaches, even if you haven't coached or played baseball before!
