Below are links to the Level I and II Umpire Clinic Registration forms for 2021. These forms are now live on the Baseball NL website.

This year BNL will be offering the clinic in an online/virtual setting with partnership from Baseball Ontario. This portion is self-directed (meaning participants can work at their own pace to complete the work). We are in the process now of working with Baseball Ontario to finalize the content and make  NL-specific adjustments. This process will take a couple of weeks to finalize.

For 2021, an on-field component for Level I and Level II umpires will be offered later this spring. This will be scheduled in accordance with COVID regulations and public health measures,  in advance of the start of the season.  More information will be communicated on this portion as we move closer to late May

The Level I Clinic is open to any umpire who has not previously taken a Level I Clinic, or anyone who took the Level I Clinic for the first time last year (2020). This year will focus on umpiring with respect to DEFENSIVE TEAM so anyone from 2020 must take this years clinic as the content is different than last year. The cost of this clinic is $50

The Level II Clinic is open to any umpire who previously took two Level I Clinics and is looking to continue with their umpire development, or anyone who took Level II for the first time last year. Again – this year’s content is different than 2020 so anyone who took Level II in 2020 must take Level II again this year. The cost of this clinic is $50.

The deadline to register is Friday, April 30th. We will the send then registration lists to Baseball Ontario for upload in their virtual system. Once this process takes place we will communicate to everyone registered how they can complete the virtual/online portion of the clinic.
