Paradise Minor Baseball AGM Announcement
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Paradise Minor Baseball will take place on April 1, 2025, at 8:00 PM.
This meeting is open to members in good standing: parents/guardians of athletes who were registered in 2024.
Note: while more than one parent/guardian may attend, there is one vote per household to vote on any motion brought to the floor, including election of executive members.
Pre-registration for this event is required and must be completed by March 25th.

We encourage all eligible parents/guardians to attend as we will discuss important matters regarding the upcoming baseball season.

Election of Officers:

The following executive positions to be filled by election at the AGM:

• President –   Sam Oliver (To be elected)
• All-Star & Coaching Coordinator - Leon Ledgister  (to be elected)
• Secretary – Charlie Parsons (To be Elected)​​
• Scheduler and Website Administrator - Vacant (To be elected)
• Junior Divisional Rep – Vacant (To be elected)

• Treasurer – Sam Oliver - Interim
  (To be APPOINTED by incoming executive) 

• Each position is elected for a two year term
• Nominations for all Executive Positions must be given at the AGM by a member other than the person being nominated.
• The Nominee must accept the nomination in person at the AGM.​​​​​​​PMB Members present at the AGM will cast a vote for each position by secret ballot.
• There shall not be 2 or more Executive Committee members sitting on the Executive at the same time that are immediate family. For this clause, immediate family will be defined as Husband & Wife (including common-law), Parent & Child, or Siblings.​​​​​​​
• A person may hold no more than two positions on the Executive simultaneously.   

• To be eligible to be nominated as President or Vice President, a candidate must have served a minimum of one term in another capacity on the Executive of Paradise Minor Baseball.

Parents and Legal Guardians of paid registered player(s) in good standing represent ONE voting member of Paradise Minor Baseball (PMB) to be used at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Only one vote is allowed per household, regardless of the number of registered players or attending Parents/Legal Guardians. A registered player is someone who was officially registered with PMB in 2024.

• The vote of a voting member must be exercised IN PERSON at the AGM.
• No proxy votes are permitted.
